Meeting March 22, 2010

We revisited how we will measure whether 90% of the staff is actively participating in the inquiry process. We decided that it is very difficult to assess who is using ARIS and or Acuity, however grades 3-5 have been supplied with item analysis reports and these data tools are in fact widely used. We need to build grade binders to submit to administration in order to receive feedback on our accountability and the direction we should focus our efforts on. We need the administration to buy into the inquiry process and provide structured support in order to take the inquiry process to the next level. The schedule of April's inquiry meetings are as follows:
April 12
April 19

Inquiry process rubrics- nexts steps

The core inquiry team examined the rubric for implementing the collaborative inquiry process within our school with the focus of 90% of our teachers being involved. We are looking at the setup and multiple stage team and have decided that we lie between both beginning and emerging, which is equivalent to a high 1 or low 2. Our next steps are to invite more staff members to core inquiry meetings to help them establish protocol and ground rules for future team meetings that will examine student data.
